| Blog vs Forum What are the benefits of blogging opposed to posting in the forum section? Or vise versa? I never even realized we had a blog section until today. |

| I have never looked in the Blogs section. I'm going to look right now. I'm guessing that there's a lot more viewing of posts in the regular forum. EDIT: just peeked. HOLY COW i had no idea this existed! (ok jumped the gun - not that exciting)

Thor's Human Donating Member | (ahem) maybe you just didn't check the right blog. I post to my blog when I want to go on about something at some length. I also tend to post things that I want to keep a history of, like Thor's training. I haven't been as diligent about updating it as I'd like.

| OK I understand the personal blogs being used as a journal, but don't understand people posting questions like they do on the forum. |

I think most of the time it's just confusion on the part of the poster.

| I always thought of a blog as a way to journal or share a lengthy story you want to share. I don't think a blog is a good place to post questions. |

| The blog section is made to be a journal where people can comment. People really should not be posting questions- that is what the forum is for.

| That is what I thought but it looks like a LOT of people are posting questions on the blogs and probably wondering why they don't get any answers.

| It has to be that people are confused where to post questions. I've attached an image.

| Look at the blue bar above. It has "User CP", "Blogs", etc. There is a drop-down list for blogs.
