| Do you ever look into their eye I look into Bogey's eyes and I get a lump in my throat because of the love he gives me. When I hold Pebbles she puts her head into the crook of my neck and gives a huge sigh. Doodlebug loves to bury himself in the early morning hours under the blankets against my back. They all had bathes tonight and smell wonderful. Right now as I'm typing this thread I'm sitting in my recliner~Pebbles is sleeping across my lower legs, Bogey is on my lap and Doodlebug is across my left upper leg. I just love them all so much. I'm am so lucky to have them as part of my family.

| I feel the same way! My Winston gives hugs too with that sigh and just wants to snuggle and I absolutely love when my new baby girl, Scarlett, gives me kisses. Aren't we sooooo lucky to have such amazing members of our families!

| Yes when I look into their eyes I see such devotion and love staring back at me. It is because of this that I do what I do for them, putting their interests above my own - always. I am sad for those who do not know the love of an animal in the same way that I do or cannot make that connection. All three of mine are downstairs right now cuddled up together. They will be coming up soon for bed

| This is a great thread. The love they show us every day is something you just cannot explain to someone who hasn't experienced it. |

| I agree with everyone's comments 100%. I'm sure some are tired of hearing this from me but Toby is the canine version of the love of my life. I have loved all my pets throughout my life but have never ever had one as devoted to me as he is. And yes, we animal lovers always put their needs before our own.

| Got any room in that chair for more? Kacee's eyes melt my soul. They have from the very first time we met.

| Bogey will look so deep into my eyes that it makes my heart ache. There are just no words for the look of love and devotion that he conveys. Even my husband feels the same way. He was away for the weekend and I sent him a picture of the babies and he txted me back "I miss them as much as I miss you"......he's just as in love with them as I am. Oh boy~if he ever knew that I shared that with anyone.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | There is something about Izzy that makes me love her more everyday... The way she follows me around the house..when i'm at the computer and she lays by my feet, the way she will come and lay with me in bed but then look up at me... or maybe it's the way she lays her head on my shoulder like a little baby... The point is that she has made it clear that she loves me deeply and that she needs me. My hubby love her just as much... She is the only dog that my hubby has let sleep with us.. He loves her just as much!! She is just an awesome little girl and I couldn't inmagin my life with out her

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I have been giving my girls some extra one on one loving and I just feel my stress melt away when I look in to their eyes. They have been so patient with Nikki coming in and attaching himself to my side.

| Oooooh the unconditional love that a dog gives. I had to go away on a overnight field trip with the kids at school and when I called the next day my husband asked what time will you be home? Max got in bed with hubby and he stayed on my side of the bed with his head hanging off the mattress looking down the hall for me and crying. He said he called him over and had to cuddle with him to get him to stop crying, but as soon as he fell asleep Max woke him up crying again. I just wounder does hubby or my skin kids miss me??

| Very loyal and loving. Buster and Maggie are very loyal and loving. It's hard to believe there is that much love in such a little thing. And you can see the love in their eyes when they look at you. I gotta quit reading before I ditch work and go home.

| I love when I look in Pipers eyes. I see so much love. I was sick and in the hospital for 6 days, and my hubby said he just sat at the door looking for me. That made me feel so loved.

So, yes, I know what it feels like to look at them and get a lump in my throat. I am not ashamed to say I cried like a baby when I got home, I missed waking up to them, and going to sleep with them. There will never be a human on this earth as devoted to me as my dogs, I have a cold and was in bed most of the day Saturday, and Cooper never left the bed. Also, this may be a coincidence (or not) but Baxter has always slept thru the night. Lately, he has been crying to be put down in the wee hours of the morning. Every time it has happened, I woke up feeling funny, and my blood sugar was too low. What a blessing they have been to me! | |

| What a wonderful post Jodi! I can't help but look in my girls eyes, as soon as I sit down~here they come ready for love and snuggles and right get in my face for kisses. This is my favorite part of the day. As the evening winds down, hubby and I usually have one girl in each of our laps~but ultimatley, they end up with mommy. xoxoxo I am so thankful for the look I have always saw in Maddie's eyes and *finally* see in Cooper's. Cooper had such an unfair start in her life, she has had trouble completely letting her guard down with us. ~Now, there is no doubt, when she climbs into my lap and lets her belly shine with eyes begging for belly rubs and kisses, she knows she is at home with her family and that my heart melts every time. |
