| Little Holy Terriers! Ok, you know we love them, spoil them, baby them and adore them. But , what about all the naughty, honory, sneaky, annoying ...drive you banannas things that they do? 1) No more animal planet at our house. Cant watch it in peace. He jumps at the tv and barks at the dogs. Sometimes the horses elephants and cows. he even occasionally recognizes the cartoon dogs. 2) no tissues in your pks. He will sniff out and shove his head in you pkt to steal a tissue or papertowell only to shred it so momma will clean it up. Has occasionally stold a role of toilet paper and tore it up. The other day stole a bag of femenine products from the slightly ajar cabinet door in the bathroom and tore one up..... 3) He's sneaky and runs away when he knows he has something he shouldnt or if he's about to get washed or something he doesnt like and you have to chase him down. 4) He is potty trained but still has a thing for pooing upon mommys treadmill. Don't know why... just likes to poo upon it. I joke he gets more use from it than i do.... 5) OH that loud screeching bark that will put a chihuahua to shame. 6) jus the other morning i was sick and jus wanted my sleep. He hasnt always slept w me but has the last month. Would be, that he had to get mommy up and would lick my face, my hair and dig the covers of of me. I just wanted to sleep..... 7) oh, and I just noticed he's been chewing on my kitchen chair legs.... I love him and dont ever want to part w him but don't want to loose my house to him either. 8) He still marks all the time. He's neutered and still does it too often. Just put out my christmas decorations and he's peed on the tree skirt three times already.... But oh that piercing yelling bark...... lol We love them but whats thier "naughty " sides? |

| Can't believe how many "mine toos" there were in your post! I don't know why they all love to shred tissues and mine also used to poo and pee on my treadmill! I could not believe it! I wondered if I had somehow gotten another dog's scent on my shoes and transferred it to the tread. So, I cleaned that thing with a good enzyme cleaner like crazy. Still did it! The treadmill is now in the garage. Mine will also bark at any dog barking on TV or a video here on YT! They do possess the ability to bark with the most piercing shrill bark of any animal I have heard other than possibly my mom's cockatoo when annoyed. The sneakiness must also be a breed characteristic. Mine can slink off to do some pretty extensive mess-making in less time than you would ever think possible. But they always give theirselves away with the guiltiest look ever! They know it was wrong, but could not help their cute little selves. That is the problem. No matter what they do wrong, they do it cuter than any other living thing -- so how mad can you really get?

| Yah, what is it with the paper??? tissue, tp, paper towels, mail...any paper.. and I always knew there was a reason I don't exercise i.e. buy a tread mill... My problem is the cats help the dogs. I put things on the counters so the dogs can't get to them and the cats get on the counters and throw things down to the dogs. One of these days I'm gonna catch it on video, I swear. Once, Buster threw an entire box of Puffs down to the girls and sat there on the counter very smug while they made mince meat of the tissues. The piercing bark comes into play when Baby narcs out Bug. Tonight Buffy got on the counter and tossed one of Bear's rawhides to Bug (only Bear and Baxter get rawhides) Bug was racing through the house with Baby in hot pursuit. The race is not unusual and Baby barking while they race is not unusual, but Baby only does the piercing bark during the race when Bug has something she should not have. It is her 'I'm telling mommy' bark. Sure enough, Bug had the rawhide. Baby has probably saved Bug's life on a number of occasions. Oh, and we leave animal planet on whenever we leave the house. Let them party without interference (that and make sure that even the cats can't get to the rawhides).

A few times a week, Floyd will decide to 'hold court'. His cage sits across from the couch. He'll start up with those ear piercing shrieks (that only a 'too can do). This is a signal for all the dogs to line up on the couch and get into a howling contest with Floyd. Such a commotion you've never heard! Luckily, for some reason, he usually does this as I'm leaving to go somewhere. I can hear them as I drive off and for about half a block down the street. My neighbors just love me .

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | I have 2 four-legged paper shredders in this house, too. I was cleaning up a marking incident this afternoon, and as I turned around, there was Scarlett leaving her contribution. The newest thing is when I have been on the computer too long Scarlett jumps up on the couch and starts full on attacking my hand. I'm covered in bite marks right now. Animal Planet is banned here, too. Today they even started "talking back" to the movie "Bolt". Thanks for the warning about the tree skirt. I hadn't thought of that possibility. I love my Yorkshire Terrorists.

| Mine both go crazy if I watch any show with barking dogs; no more Dog Whisperer because their barks could wake the dead. I join you in the ranks of shredded tissue owners everywhere. Lucy also loves to search out and find used Q tips. She also loves to search, find, and eat goose poop if we walk around the lake. It's like a buffet line for her. I've pretty much quit taking her there. She chews pens, make up applicators; and, sadly, my new glasses are now decorated with bite marks. They are ok to use as long as I don't have to look down. Yorkshire Terrors!

| WOW, I feel so lucky that I don't have these issues with my babies...well, the only time I got super upset was when Carmel chewed the corner of my physics textbook when he was a puppy. The last time that we punished him was when he chewed the blue Styrofoam padding in their play area. They never go for the tissues nor our chairs. Hope I don't jinx myself OH, I forgot to mention. My babies do get aroused when they hear doorbells ring in the dramas that I watch. They will bark and go to the door. It cracks me up!

| Bailey is the mischievous one in my household, he's just a tad bit on the evil side, but I still love him

No Longer a Member | Yep, I leave Rizzo un-attended for just a few minutes, and when he hears me he bolts out of the bathroom, tail tucked and tries to hide...but I know he's been searching the kitty litter for snacks by the evidence left around his mouth...Luckily the cat is starting to take to the "litter kwitter" (teaching him to pee in the toilet) so this will soon stop. About to make him only have that option available, and then after that it'll be smooth sailing and no more puppy digging through the litter box which will be amazing. I swear, thirty seconds flat he can be in the bathroom digging for treasures find something and run away to explore it further. Gross. Though he does like to watch tv, he really likes Stewie and Brian, haha, he could be running around the living room all crazy puppy like, as soon as he hears on of them on the tv, he stops and stares as long as they're on. Them and James Earl Jones...he is such an odd pup. |

| My three are pretty good, for the most part...I have two yorkies and a chorkie...However, the male pup has the most obnoxious bark, on the planet...I can listen to the girls bark, anytime, but Buzz, omg'sh, it's annoying...AND, when he wants something from the girls, he stands in their face and barks, 'till they give it to him...They don't like it either! I have one girl, Apple, that is housebroken, for the most part, but if I take longer than about 4 or 5 hrs. getting home, she has no problem, peeing on the floor (thank goodness, it's either laminate or tile!)...My chorkie, runs around barking at any movement, if I have company, in the house, like she's on patrol, driving everyone nuts, but always goes on a pee pad...Both the yorkies, fence fight like crazy w/the dogs next door (redwood fence)...The chorkie doesn't bother...So, all in all, they're not bad, and I wouldn't trade any of them for all the tea in China |

| It's funny how almost nothing ever happens when we are home, it's almost always when we are gone. You've heard of my dog ate my homework. Well my son has experienced, the dog shredded by homework. Any paper or cardboard left on the floor is mincemeat upon our return. Sophie likes to chew baseboards, she's chewed the occassional desk chair or wooden rack, but her preference is the base boards. I know it's Sophie cause it didn't start till after we got her and it started before we got Jacie. Bring Jacie into the family has slowed her down on this issue. Jacie was neutered late, so he marks sometimes, but that is usually when there is someone (dog or human) in the house that isn't usually there. And I believe he thinks the kitchen table is a tree. Now the barking is only a problem when the neighbors dogs are out. I'm sure between my 3 (2 yorkies/1 peke) and the 2 dogs (min pin and schanzer) next door this morning that anyone in a 1 mile radius that was still sleeping is awake now. Just notice my most recent issue, I cleaned the floor yesterday and it looked so nice, not I look to see tons of dirty footprints where my clean floor used to be. Now why my husband didn't clean their feet before allowing them back in I just don't know. But I love my babies unconditionally.
