Senior Yorkie Talker | Itchy habit? Everytime we stop on the side walk lexi stops to scratch her head. I swear it's a habit because the vet said she's fine. Plus she doens't have fleas or anything. I remember when I first got her she was always itching and then it has mild down since then. Do you think she's now just doing it out of habit? She's almot 1 year now.

YT 1000 Club Member | I'd make sure she doesn't have dry skin. Charlie has dry skin so is always scratching even though I use oatmeal shampoo. If not, it could be a habit.

| If she's only scratching her head, there could be other problems. Where exactly is she scratching? Behind her ears on one side or both? Or in front of her ears more on her face?

| My lil one do the same thing, she always scratching her head and under her chin. She don't have fleas. When she out side she will stop and scratch her head and at night.

Senior Yorkie Talker | It's not her ear, it's her actual head. Left of right side of her head or under her chin. It's a bit confusing because if we're walkin she doesn't stop just to scratch. it's usually only when I tell her to sit she'd scratch. She's been doing it since I've gotten, trust me it's much less now. But I'm curious if it's just a random habit.
