| RY's Neuter Riley went for his neuter and microchip yesterday and today, it is like nothing ever happened. He's 6 1/2 months old and weighed in at 6 pounds 2 ounces. I dropped him off around 8am.... The vet called around 11:45 to tell me he did really well... I went to get him around 4pm. He didn't have to have any baby teeth pulled. He was a little sleepy when I brought him home, but he ate about an hour later and I gave him his pain meds and he was already back to playing shortly after that. She said he hadn't started licking, but she gave me an e-collar, just in case. I have not had to put it on him, yet.... Now I am just trying to keep him from jumping and running around the apt. which has actually been a little difficult. He has the stitches that dissolve by themselves. I am so relieved it went so well...... I am a little paranoid it is going to ge infected or something so I keep checking his incision. I had a bad experience with a prior dog of mine. Hopefully it will be Smooth Sailing for the next few days. |

| I'm glad he's doing so well. I've never had one get infected around the incision (on my girls), so I hope you do well with him, too. Just keep him from jumping and running around so much so he can heal.

| Yesterday I caught him jumping up and down from the couch a few times... I cringed each time!! He hasn't been licking and/or biting but he definitely knows something is going on down there because he did look down there to check it out a couple of times and I yelled No!! I stayed with him All Day Long, yesterday but need to run to Petco and a couple other places today so I think I am going to wait until he starts getting sleepy for his nap.....and I will put his e-collar on him and put him in his x-pen. He is Not going to be happy... I don't go back to work until Wednesday.... so I am able to hang with him and keep my eyes on him. |

| Oh that's good. Teegy was so happy to see me all he wanted to do was go home. My vet kept him in overnight just to make sure he was okay. Isn't it odd how we worry ourselves to death about them and they come home all, hey ma where's ma tea and give us a big cuddle. |
