| My 17 month old Bailey is 4lbs and 27 month old Jesse is 3lbs. The standard for yorkies is 3 to 7 pounds I believe, but there are yorkies affectionally called "teapots" that can weigh much more.

| Yep, standard Yorkies are not to exceed 7lbs. But between all the backyard breeding and puppy mills, etc, Yorkies can get huge fast. Jackson is a healthy 15lbs.

| Teegy is almost 16 months and was 5.4lbs last weigh in a month ago. For show dogs there is a breed standard but I know people who have 9 & 10 pound Yorkies and I think it also depends on the genetics of the parents. I think Teegy is a midget until I see my friends two Yorkies who are 4 pounds. |
