| Need Advice please I took my new puppy to get her second set of shots on tuesday. A couple hours after I brought her home I noticed her eyes were slightly swollen so I figured she was having a slight allergic reaction. Being the paranoid yorkie momma that I am, I rushed her to the emergency vet so they could take a look at her. By the time we got to the vet the swelling had gone down. They gave her the usual shots they give a dog who has an allergic reaction to vaccines. Besides the slight swelling she was fine. Now I've been reading all the threads about yorkies who have had allergic reactions to vaccines and am scared to take her to get any more shots. I don't want anything to happen to her. So my question is what would you suggest I do. I have no idea what to do. I don't want her to get sick because she doesn't have her shots but then I don't want her to die because she has a severe allergic reaction to her shots. PLEASE HELP!!!! TIA for any responses.

| Do you know what vaccines she got? Lepto especially can cause a reaction. So can corona. Neither are core vaccines. |

| The first time I took my first Yorkie for her shots the Vet suggested that after the shot I could stay there for a half an hour just in case there were any allergic reactions (Probably he noticed that I was a bit scared about the first time) Why don't you try that the next time so if you have any problem your Vet can examine your baby on the spot?
