| Do your yorkies do this???????? Whenever I let Mr. Darcy and Miss Lizzie outside, either on the back deck, or out on the front, they grab a few pieces of kibble - running back and forth a couple of times to crunch it down before they go outside - and they do this EVERYTIME!!!! They are only out until they ask to come back in, so it's not as if they are stuck outside with no food. Mr. Darcy did this before I got Miss Lizzie - cute, but I wonder why?????

| No, never had that happen, but it's funny! I think they're just playing. Muffin grabbed her treat once and took it outside and buried it next to the patio. Then a bit later dug it up and ate it! She was just a puppy then. I think it's pretty cute that yours are doing that.

| That is funny. Tinkerbell hides her bullsticks and other toys around the house. It is funny to watch her. |

| Ben tries to always grab a toy and take it outside with him. He sneaks so many out, I have to pick up toys before I can ever mow. I think he has this last desparate thought that he does not want to get parted from his toys. My sister has one of his progeny and she takes a toy with her when they take walks! She said it is a funny site, but her little one is not happy unless she has a little toy with her. Maybe the kibble is sort of the same for your pup. Just doesn't want to get caught with an empty stomach.

| That's hilarious. Mine doesn't do that when going out, but she does do it when she eats. She'll grab little bites of kibble from her bowl in the kitchen, then run to my bedroom to eat it on the carpet.

| My dogs do that also. They have to have a toy or bone in their mouth before they go out. They have more toys outside than inside. Everyday I go out collecting toys and the next day they're out there again. They don't bring food out though. |

| I bought my brother's much larger dog a giant version of Teegy's squeaky frog, cos he loved it. He took it out in my mum's back garden and came back without it. We hunted high and low and never found it and he's dug up so many spots in her yard who knows which muddy pile of mess it might be buried under |

| When Buster leaves the house, either for a walk or a car ride or wherever, he will eat every kibble in his bowl. He will not let you put the harness on him until he has finished it off. This is the only time he will finish all of his food. I don't know if he's afraid he won't get anymore food but it is kind of funny to watch him do this.

| Ours don't do that, but when Piper and Meadow eat, they take it out of the bowl, drop two to three pieces on the floor about 6-8 feet away from their respecitve dishes (which are also about 5 feet apart from one another) and eat them one at a time there, then run back to the bowl and repeat. I told my wife that if I had to do that, I could really drop some weight running back and forth to my plate like that!

| Yes! my cooper does this all the time. I can be in the living room and he goes to the kitchen gets a bite of food, brings it to the living room up on the ottoman and eats itt. Some mornings i'll be in my room getting ready and he goes gets some and brings it back to where iam and eats it. He too burries treats . it's so cute he burries them behind pillows or in blankets and he covers it up by scooting his nose and moving the blanket over it . |
