| Well, I did it and now I'm DONE!!!! LOL!!! Sneak a peak at my new avatar and signature line. Me thinks my pack is as big as it is gonna get. I've been working on adopting a rescue for awhile (quite the process) and wanted to wait until it was a done deal to say anything. I'm paranoid of the proverbial 'jinx'. Anyway, another little girl at the same rescue was returned from her adopted home for having 2 accidents in 5 days and so, dammit, took her, too. Bridget was listed on petfinder as Cherie. She is a 6yr old, former Breeder, was just spayed two days ago. She is skin and bones. The vertebrae on the back of her spine are sharp through her skin. She hasn't eaten since we brought her home yesterday. She has pooped quite a bit and is now down to liquid. I'm not concerned about serious health conditions right now as she was vetted complete with shots, teeth cleaning etc...at the spaying. I'm chalking it up to stress, nerves and medication, we'll wait and see. Not too long, she's too skinny to wait too long. She immediately glommed onto my DH. adores him and will not leave his lap. So, acclimating it appears will be fairly smooth. Brie was listed on petfinder as Nova. She is a 6yr old, former Breeder. She was spayed sometime ago. Her teeth were neglected and many many were removed. Her tongue hangs out to one side permanently like so many of the chinese crested/mexican hairless ugliest dog winners. But the kicker on that is that at sometime either in a dog fight or by a bad groomer a notch was cut out of the tip of her tongue, so that adds to her overall ""charm"". She has a lot of puppy spunk in her. She is a tiny bit heftier than Bridget, Can still count her ribs though. She hasn't eaten either. I don't know if it is loss of appetite or not finding the right item that will entice her. We took our entire clan to the rescue for the pick up and all four of ours got to meet these two in a large room. It was fine at first sight. Not a sign of aggression out any of them. Very relieved. Right now as I type this on my laptop. Bridget is on DH's lap. Bear is on the couch curled up beside them. Baxter is curled up beside me. Baby is laying on my arm trying to hinder my typing. Brie is in my lap and Bug is on my feet, (recliner) all sleeping. We've already had potty accidents, and of course that will take awhile. But, thankfully the first hurdle is overcome, I haven't lost my peaceable kingdom.

| Congratulation! They are all so adorable. Accidents will happen that is why I belly band all the boys. If one marks the spot they will all want to mark that spot. You might want to feed Brie seperate and maybe add some baby chicken sticks in her food. Not a lot just for taste. Good luck and bless you for rescuing. Keep us updated. |

| I can't believe she was returned for a toilet accident. Big giant kudos to you for taking the two. If I had more money and space I'd be doing the same thing. And your new avatar is great |

| Bless your heart for taking them in. It's unbelievable that she was returned because of potty accidents since she was just spayed. That almost always happens. I'm so glad you brought them into your lives. I hope you all will have a lot of fun together. I hope the eating begins soon. I'm sure it is very stressful for her after all she's been through.

| Congratulations on two new babies! I'm so glad everything is going so well other than the eating. I'm sure that will start getting better quickly. All of your babies are adorable.
