| Is it too late to tape my yorkie's ears? this is the first yorkie ive ever had. i bought her from a friend about 4 mths ago and never thought anything of her ears until recently. i noticed they've never stood up, atleast not since ive had her. she's now 10 mths old and i was wondering if it might be alittle late to try taping them..im not sure it will do any good. shes still adorable even with floppy ears but i thought i might give it a try if its possible. can anyone give me any tips or advice? |

| Have you kept them shaved? It certainly wouldn't hurt to try. But if you haven't kept them shaved, just shaving them might do it. |

| It may not be too late. I have a friend with a yorkie whose ears had not come up at 13 months old. When she mentioned it to me.. I told her it would not hurt to try shaving and taping. She called me 2 weeks later to say thank you. All it took was shaving and taping for less than two weeks. Of course that won't happen with ALL yorkies.. it will depend on the thickness of the ears, etc etc. But doesnt hurt to try.
