| Co dependent It's official Brandi and I are both co-dependent . It took me two yrs to come to this conclusion. I came to this conclusion this weekend because I had to work from home this weekend so I was there the entire weekend and I noticed how I am with Brandi. When she wasn't in the room with me, I would call for her and of course she would come running. It didn't matter what she was doing I just wanted her there with me. It's hard to believe she doesn't have separation anxiety and if she did I only have myself to blame. All she does is sleep all day when I'm not there so that's cool. Brandi loves to cuddle so of course she's always laying on me and when she is not, I go get her just so we can cuddle while watching tv. And of course she sticks to me like velcro even when she is so sleepy she can barely walk she will still get up just to me with me. I feel so flattered. Should I go see a therapist about this? I don't think so because having her is the best therapy anyone could have. it's kinda hard being depressed and miserable when you have this adorable little yorkie diva around who thinks you are the cat's meow. I've never been this way before with man or beast but this little one sure has me wrapped around her fury little paws. |

| Oh my gosh .... I am the same way. When they are not there (ya know those once in a blue moon 2 seconds??) I am looking for them! LOL Lately my fletcher has been acting sooo sketchy I'm not sure why but he'll go into another room, or he'll lay in a corner hidden from us, he'll walk with his tail down and he'll look so sad and I can't figure out why. I try everything in my power to make him happy. toys, treats, going outside, just holding him.. lol

| I have a cat and 2 yorkies and we are all codependent. The cat is as big of a baby as a yorkie

| And I thought I was the only one, LOL. I work from home everyday, and Ruby has a bed in my office that she lays on while I'm working, but sometimes she likes to lay next to the keyboard while I'm typing. We have breakfast and lunch together. We even take potty breaks at the same time. Then at 2:40 we both leave to pick my son up from school. Sometimes we come home and all take a little nap in front of the TV. It's the best. Leslie |

| I am also blessed with this co-dependancy. Seriously though, I suffer from severe depression and since having my yorkies, my husband says over and over that he has never seen me smile so much/often. Just this morning he asked me what I was thinking about while I was pouring my coffee. Of course it was Maddie. He said he was just wondering because I was smiling. They are the true loves of my lives. Their little needs are so easy to meet and they are always so thankful for everything I do for them. They are beyond the best therapy in the world. They have no idea how I benefit a hundred fold from giving them attention. Peggy, Monkey & Maddie

| That' must be it because I've had male cats and they are lot more affectionate and love to cuddle but all of my female cats have been very standoffish. |

| Haha, we are guilty of co-dependency here too. Levi loves everyone and everything he meets...but he hates to be separated from me. Even if I just run out to grab something from my car, he watches me from the window.

| I too, work from home, so Zhoie girlie and I are together 24/7......so, yes..we are to peas in a pod. I find when I go somewhere and I can't take her, I'm rushing to get back to her. I know that's bad...but I just can't help it, she owns my heart and I hers.

| I think I fall into this category as well. My week-ends (nice ones anyway) are planned around where new I can take the dogs to walk. If I'm in the car, at least one of them is with me. When I'm home; Lucy follows my every move and if a few minutes go by and she can't be seen; I'm calling her name.

| Count me in too! I'm retired so I'm home most of the time, and my two are with me all the time!
