Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Suggestion about medications I've read a few posts from people in a panic because they dropped a pill and their Yorkie swallowed it. Last night I was thinking about this as I very carefully took my evening pills and realized that I have no idea what effect they would have on Tallulah. Here's a suggestion that I'm going to implement tonight when I get home... Make a list of every medication in your home - including prescriptions and over-the-counter products. Look it up now, and record what needs to be done if your Yorkie ingests any of it. And if you have any medications you don't use, get rid of them now. One less hazard to worry about. I'm also going to remove all medications from my purse. Although Tallulah hasn't had the opportunity to explore it yet, I'm sure the day will come when I'm careless or someone else in the household sets it on the floor. And you know who will have her little nose in there the second she gets a chance. |

| This sounds like a great idea! One thing I do (learned it from another YT member) is always take my pills over the kitchen sink. This won't totally prevent pills from falling on the floor but every little bit of protection helps. Thanks for posting this!

| My DH was always dumping his meds on the floor... I had to suggest for him to do it over the table or a plate instead of his lap!
