| Worried about neutering prior to agility classes.. I just signed Cosmo up for Agility classes starting this Tuesday. I'm very excited and I think he'll really enjoy it. I have since realised that I have him booked to be neutered on Friday, November 5th. He would then have a class the following Tuesday. Should I be worried about this? I can always try and have the surgery moved to a Wednesday, to give him 6 days to recover before a class. I'm not exactly sure what each weekly class covers, so I'm a little unsure how hard they would be on his little body? |

| He shouldn't do any sort of agility until the stitches come out (10-14 days). You might get away with it after a week. No reason to take the risk...

| Yay for agility! Jackson is on his 4th week and we are LOVING class. Not sure about the neutering. I mean, Jackson was pretty much back to normal by the 3rd day but I would think after only 6 days, the stitches would still be in? but I'm not sure... I would maybe skip a week if possible. Or go to class but only do minimal activity - like maybe just walk over jumps (no actual jumping), etc. So that way you go to class but just limit his activity. I would see what the vet says.
