| Foster care and ? dogs I have a question about licensing. I'm afraid in our town there is a limit of two dogs per household and we have four. I was thinking about trying to get a kennel license, because I would really like to foster dogs too! I'm at home all day, own a large house and have a fenced in yard. I do live in a residential area though. I was wondering if any of you have dealt with this or have a kennel license. I also live in fear that someone will say something about the dogs.

| My advice will be to call your auditors office and ask about a kennel license our law used to be you just had to pay for it but, now you have to have a small business license or prove you use your dogs for hunting

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | There ought to be a combined weight limit for dogs rather than a specific number. Then you could have a dozen yorkies while your neighbor could have only one St. Bernard... |

| I had dachsies I fostered for a little over 10 years. I have two foster Yorkies now. Never had a problem with neighbours or anything. I have a large fenced in yard so the dogs have never been a problem. I am also in a residential area I have licenses for Lil Bit and Beamer and the two foster yorkies are owned by the rescue group. According to our county ordinances we are allowed 4 adult dogs.
