Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Paper towels made me panic In the hour after we got up, Tallulah piddled so many times, I started to worry about her. Finally I was cleaning up another piddle and there was a dark orange stain on the paper towel. Well, my heart started pounding - I've been reading so many posts about sick Yorkies I immediately thought the worst. Then the orange color stopped spreading even though the wet was still being soaked up. It was a pumpkin on some Halloween-themed paper towels. I think I will be going back to boring white from now on. Last edited by boopster; 10-18-2010 at 06:44 AM. |

| Oh my gosh, how scary that must have been! I know how you feel, because I did the same thing with an x-mas print paper towel. I was wiping my son's face (toddler at the time) and saw red through the wet towel and freaked out...I opened up the wet towel and saw it was a red ornnament decoration on the paper towel!

| I know how you felt. I was cleaning up some pee and poop and there was a big red spot on the towel. I also went into a panic until I realized it was a big red flower on the towel. I now use only white towels also. |

| I thought perhaps they had secret designs that showed up when wet! That would be cool. But of course, I agree plain paper towels may be best to help alleviate unnecessary panic! So glad it was nothing! Peggy, Monkey & Maddie

| Well, they are secretly decorative I have not had this issue (probably because Paisley was potty trained before we got him ) but I will have to remember that before our new little one joins the family **Note to self** Buy the PLAIN papertowels, not matter how cute the print!

| My Iphone does that too. Sometimes I read back what I have sent and just shake my head. But it also fixes so many of my typos which I am more inclined to make on the phone so I guess it is a good trade off. I did wonder why the print ws secretive.

| Ha! Too funny! (decorative > secretive) Those fancy towels can give a Yorkie Mommie a heart attack! Been there (tmttc) done that! Haven't done it since using the white towels... Now bc I'm older and can't quite see as well, with the fall comes picking up poo barehanded thinking it is a leaf! Yuck! Ewwwww!
