| Meet The Breeds @ NY's Jacob Javits Center Oct 16 & 17 Anyone going to the Meet the Breeds at Javits center in NY? It is Sat and Sun Oct 16 & 17. Most AKC recognized breeds will be represented, including Yorkies (a booth hosted by the YTCA), and the CFA (Cat FAnciers Association) too! It is a great family day! There are demonstrations of grooming, search and rescue dogs, agility - too many to list. Face painting for the kids. Give - aways from many of the pet food companies and others. Hope to see you all there! American Kennel Club

| I would have loved to go. Sounds like fun - but have my granddaughter's first birthday - can't miss that. Let us know how it was if you go. |

| We've got our tickets and we're heading out in a few hours. We're really looking forward to it. Thanks so much for posting about this, or else we would have never known!

| I believe it ends at 5pm both days. Despite the incredible crowded-ness of the whole thing, it was a lot of fun. One of the best parts of our day was getting to meet Meteorologist Ron Trotta and Schmitty the Weather Dog!

| I didn't bring Roxie...it said right on the tickets not to bring your pet...however, I did see many people with their dogs who didn't have MTB lanyards on.
