| So cute! My family raised Chow-Chows as I grew up. Actually, still the only dogs my mom will own. I love them such good dogs

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | I love Chows.. they are my first love. I don't have one now but always say someday will get another. Even thought about getting into the ring with one but don't want to bite off more than I can chew right now.

| She is beautiful. We had a chow that was black and his name was bear and he really LOVED us. But got very aggressive with other people. He was our favorite dog ever. Died when he was 5 , vet didn't know reason, he had pneumonia the winter before. Best of luck. |

I wish you the best of luck. CC's pics brought back some very happy memories of cuddling on Mookie! Oh, and I should clarify, she never turned on any of the family members who lived in the house. Very very protective of all of her people! Peggy, Monkey & Maddie

| Forgot to add, Mookie's face never wringled (or whatever they call it) so she had a teddy bear face until she passed on at a ripe old age. I think that is why I was always cuddling her so much. Every memory I have I think my arms were wrapped around her neck. Poor dog was being mugged by me. I don't know why she put up with me! But I truly loved her! Peggy, Monkey & Maddie

Potty training is so easy with them! We raised them as house dogs and also had several become outside dogs. Its so funny because my moms female still tries to crawl into my lap and she's probably 60lbs now. Watch your furniture when teething! They can turn a wooden table corner into nothing but fibers. We actually started to use raw potatoes as chew toys... much better picking up chunks of potato off the floor instead of furniture. As you can tell hair, hair and more hair! Definitely stay on top of the coat when shedding starts in the spring because it can mat fast!

| Thanks everyone for all of your great suggestions! I really appreciate it, I cannot lie and say I was thrilled about getting a chow, but now that shes here I absolutely adore her! She is such a great little dog, and as you stated earlier so easy to potty train! Thanks again! |
