New Puppy Hello to everyone, I am new to Yorkie talk, although I have been reading alot and learning alot as well. I have one Yorkie, 1 and 1/2 year named Chloe, about 10 lbs, she is a tomboy, but sweet, she can get very dirty in no time flat. I also have a toy poodle, and a Bichon, I have the opprotunity to get another little girl, she is alot smaller and hasn't had her tail docked as the vet was worried that she was too small. The breeder is going out of breeding and my last chance of getting one of her puppies. My husband told me I have to have a good reason for getting her, and I can't think of one except that I want her. Anybody have any ideas how I can convince him. Thanks Barb

"But honey, I really really want her and it would make me so so happy if you'd let me get her, and she is so small she wouldn't take up any more room than the others, you'd hardly notice she's around" Of course, he may not buy that - but it's worth a shot

Go for the zen-harmony approach. Even number of kids creates balance in life If that doesn't work, just take him to meet her. In my experience big men are putty against tiny little puppies.

Thanks for the help. My bichon and poodle are over ten yrs so they hardly get out of bed. The bichon is my daughters and when she moved away she left her with us, go figure. I really like the personality of the Yorkie and I can always take them with me or someone is always more than willing to look after them. They really don't take up much room do they? I will keep trying to convince him, we won't let them take over the house.
