| Just dropped Piper and Gracie off for their spays! Poor Gracie was shaking and Piper gave me 'the look' as they carried them away. They broke my heart!! I will get to pick them up around 4pm (est). Also, Lucy gets her staples out today!! She is back to 100%...running, chasing Piper, paying tug 'o war and fetch with us.

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | How old are they? I thought it was standard to try to spay before the first heat to reduce cancer risks, but my baby's breeder said it would be best at about 1 year, even though she will probably have a heat before then. |

| Well, we are home from dropping Gracie off with my Grandparents. They both did great! Piper was a little upset after surgery. They said she whined a bit but now she is very calm. She is asleep in my lap and Gracie was asleep in my Grandmothers lap when we left. They both have their 'cone of shame' on because the first thing they did was start licking. Also, Piper had 2 teeth pulled. Lucy didn't get her staples out. They took out 3 of them and the incision was still not healed all the way so she goes back in next week too. I am taking all three in for suture removal at the same time....Lord help me! LOL! Boopster- Piper is 6 months old. Gracie is 9 months old and had just started her heat this weekend.

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | Glad they are home and doing well. "Cone of Shame"- LOL. Did you get that from the movie "Up"? And good luck getting all 3 in to the vets at the same time. That's going to be quite a sight!

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Glad the girls are doing well. It's been a long time since I had a dog spayed - over 15 years. As I recall, I cried the whole way home and was pretty teary the entire day until the vet called to say she was doing fine. |

| Glad your babies are doing well. Instead of the 'Cone of Shame', try a onsie. (I love the movie, 'Up' too!) Tia was spayed and two baby teeth removed Saturday. She is a licker too, so I purchased some onsies (mostly from a thrift store), cut a hole for her little tail and she cannot get to her scar. I have to unsnap for her to go outside potty, but it's working great! |
