| Bella the Incinerator, Instigator, Terminator 4 1/2 lbs of Pure Energy I love this little girl to pieces but let me tell you, she can't be left unattended. Bella is into everything and anything. You can't leave her alone and running loose because she is always looking for something to play with or eat . In the yard she will eat bugs, dirt, plants, bark etc. I have seen her poop look almost like granular dirt because she has ingested so much of the yard. In the house she looks for labels, napkins, trashbags, tv guides, magazines. If she knows you are watching she pretty much bypasses them but if you leave her alone and free you will come back to a shredding! We have one of those little bags that holds plastic grocery bags inside. You load the old bags in the top and later pull one from the bottom. Well Bella races by and grabs the tip of the bag hanging out and races through the house with it. She does this over and over and thinks she is the parade master with the bag billowing behind her. We finally moved that to another location and she still TRIES to reach it. My husband has an little pillow that he keeps in his chair and Bella will knock that to the floor and then nip the loose threads on it until the pillow is almost bare. She can climb onto one piece of furniture to reach something higher. Last week she climped on the coffee table and was able to reach the top of the TV table where she found a CD(MOVIE) and she played with that for a while. Fortunately it wasn't destroyed. She will also jump off furniture that is at least waist high and lands like a feather. She jumps onto something and before I can reach her to get her off she jumps! Scares me to death. The other day my daughter was over visiting and when she went to leave we couldn't find her keys. When we tracked them down they were in Bella's bed where we also found a set of fingernail clippers and a rock! Lord this girl is a handfull and we love her dearly. I just keep asking the lord for patience and the knowledge to know where put things out of Bella's reach Top that off with the cats and you have a good picture of her. She LOVES the cats and wants to play. When she spots one of the cats she runs straight to them and start an obsessive face licking. The cats tolerate it for a long time then finally have to pop her to get her to back off, but that doesn't slow her down. She just goes to the next available cat!

| Omg.. thats too funny. Sounds like a cartoon. Hmm, maybe shes related to my Austin. He puts everything in his mouth and trust me his teeth are pretty sharp. Yesterday I let him stay in my room to listen to Lady Gaga, which is his favorite singer..lol He loves the song poker-face. Anyhow, he will climb up my end table where my radio is and where I leave my phone and tries to knock things down. He then runs after it, hides under my bed and then comes back for more..LOL He's such a rascal. The other day my mom called me at work saying Austin was playing in the livingroom and started to chew on the sheetrock we have for the dining room..lol Everything that missing, we find in Austins bed, that he TRIES to bury..lol |

Lizzy does the same thing with our cats! She pesters them all the time, acting like she hasn't seen them for years, each and every times she sees them. If they are on the porch (screened) as she's going out, it's face kisses for the cats. A moment later when she comes in, back to the cat and face kissing. Sheesh, those cats are so tolerant. I'm knocking on wood as I say this, but I think that at three years, Liz has finally out grown a lot of her destructiveness. Of course, after chewing the molding around the bottom of the window at the front door, and a few corners of tables, she better be. I told her all the time she was lucky she was so cute, otherwise she'd be dead meat .

| I think you should post a video. Sounds like you have the Tarzan Yorkie. Teegy has a toy box, it's full of squeakies, stuffed animals and chewing toys. I think that protects my shoes and other objects in the household from destruction. I usually get home from work to find my apartment has little pockets of toys in different areas (okay I have cosy areas set up for him in several spots of my apartment). It's cute to watch him nose through them to see which one he wants at this particular time. |
