| how old were your babies when the ears went up? Taylah is 11wks and 3 days and her's ain't up yet. The lady told me they probably won't go up til around 3 months as that's when her mamas went up. Just curious to know when others went up.

| I can't remember on Kirby's ears, but I did shave them and then I taped them. It only took a day to get them to stay up. I have been taping Zoe's ears now too and the other dogs keep taking it out.. |

| I got Bounce & Romeo at 8 weeks, both of their ears were up. Isabella was 4 mos old when I got her & her ears were up at that time also. I'm sure they are all different, just my guess, I'm not an expert.

| We got Scooter at 4 months and his ears were not up....but they are now up and he will be 5 months tomorrow (10/1/05). I did take him to the groomer to have them shaved at the top and I also massaged his ears all the time (thanks to someone on YT...sorry can't remember who to give credit to)....so there's still a chance they might stand up |

| I got Toby from a breeder at 8 weeks and 2 days old. His ears were standing. She told me that she gave him puppy calcium tablets and thats what she does with all her dogs to make there ears stand. You might want to try that.

| i picked my baby out at six weeks and one ear was up and the other was up sometimes. She had two litters and told me that their ears were up by the time they were four weeks. When I went back to pick mine up at eight weeks old both ears were up and have not fallen since but he is getting a lot of hair and I am worried. he is so squirmy, I don't know if I can shave them or not but would like to. |

| Harley's ears went up just about two weeks ago, he was 4 months old, I didn't think they would ever go up, they started too when he was around 10 weeks but one would flop then they both would flop, I tried everything, calcium pills and taping them up, but FINALLY just one day they both were up and I think they are up for good. They seem strong now anyway. It will happen, just takes time sometimes.

| Shave the ear hairs and trim the ears. I actually bought the electric shavers but Spikey was so afraid of the sound of the shaver, he won't let us shave them. Then I use the normal shaver and he let us do it. After shaving the top 1/3 of his ears, I wet it and use a pair of scissors to trim the side of his ears. I massage his ears 3 times per day. Now one is standing permanently, and the other one will go up and down. He is now 16 weeks and I started doing this when he was 15 weeks. |

Yorkie Lover Donating Member | Magic's ears were almost up when we got her at 8 wks but really went up around 3 months and have never fallen...Sailor's has never had both ears up...one of her ears went up around 4 months but fell again not long after that and just recently went back up again...so she has one ear up and one ear down!!
