| People on Kijiji make me sick... Ok so I'm on my second last day of work term (which essentially means no work left to do, or I"m waiting for e-mails from people). So I think, hey for kicks I'll check Kijiji, and see what people are posting for Yorkies... Big Mistake. I found 4 "breeders" selling pups from parents under 3lbs, and several "wanted" ads for tea cups... I'm soooooo itching to e-mail those teacup people and tell them off..... I fell sick. There are just soooo many uneducated people out there. I just wish I could e-mail those people and tell them A) they don't exist, and B) if you pay under $500 for a Yorkie, especially around here you get no guarentee and the vet bills will most likely be sky rocketed, (I know there are rare exceptions, but even rescues come with huge vet bills sometimes).... GRRRR this is just my rant... that'll teach me to be bored and check kijiji. Someone stop me from e-mailing and telling off the teacup searchers.... ugh.

| I have seen it but just because they advertise on here even in the featured breeder section doesnt make them reputable

| I don't think you should hold back..send those emails, it might make you feel better!! I have given myself a second job, which consists of emailing people who make me mad by either selling tiny yorkies for breeding, or people who i believe to be puppymills or BYB etc....go on, go for it, send the emails and see how good you feel after!! (but be prepared to get some abuse back sometimes!) If it makes one person stop and think twice about what they are doing, it will have been worthwhile.

Yes, I hope anyone potential buyers do not rely that because breeders advertise on here in either section means they are reputable! Some breeders come here only to sell puppies and that's it! People still need to do their research and buy the breeder first and know what red flags to look for! The word "teacup" should be reason enough to not buy from a breeder!

| i have to agree, most are scams... I was lucky enough to meet w/ the person who was selling my yorkies. That's the only way to know if ads are real or not.
