| My yorkie is 14 weeks old and he pees several times a day. I am traing him on piddle pads until he is older. I have never heard of a puppy only going potty 2 times a day. |

| That is funny. But I think your yorkie will catch up and make up for lost time peeing later!! My Copper (8 months) likes to hold it when we travel. Drives me crazy. I drove 6 1/2 hours to Fresno. It only takes 5 hours from here, but I kept stopping along the way, finding grassy spots for him to pee. Did he go? NO. He didn't go in the car either. (I had pads in there I kept trying him on.) Nope, he went when we got there. Same thing on the way home from Tahoe, 9 hours... It is crazy but they seem to hold it. Of course that does not apply when they are in the house and want to go on the living room carpet! I think your yorkie will go more when he/she is ready.

| That is a little odd... Mine pee several times a day. Does she drink much water?

| How old is your baby? It may be that she is still getting used to her surroundings & isn't drinking enough fluids. Be sure she is eating well & staying hydrated. Have you taken your baby in for the vet check yet? You should be sure to mention this as well.

| If you are concerned have a vet look at her When we got Remy, he was 6 months old. For the first few days he rarely went to the potty, and it took him about 3 days to have a bowel movement. No medical issues, I think he was scared to death, dealing with adjustment, and would not go. Trust me, we tried to get him to go. After a few days, and a lot of praising when he did go, he seemed to understand he was allowed to, LOL. |
