| New Here.. Soon to be New Mom :-) Hello everyone, I am new to Yorkie Talk and in 2 weeks I will be bringing home my new baby girl. I have yet to decide on a name for her and I have been researching and reading every possible website about training, health problems, how to pick the right breeder, EVERYTHING about the Yorkie for the last 2-3 years and what better website than this? My family and I are finally ready to get our new addition and I think I am obsessed and she isnt even here yet. I have looked up pictures constantly called and emailed the breeder, read threads on here and went to many pet stores all for my new little princess.. If anyone has any advice for me it will be greatly appreciated. I have already taken off a week from work for her to make sure she adjusts well and to start on potty training and training in general.. So excited!! |

| Hello and Welcome to YorkieTalk! Sounds like you are doing everything right. My advice... crate training, positive reinforcement, patience, and a dog seat for your car.

| Just wanted to say "hi" and welcome. You sound so excited and I hope everything turns out as you expect it to. You sound so very well prepared - so no doubt everything will be perfect. Good luck to you and your new little baby. We are all going to want to see pictures once you get your baby home. |
