| Do you think...... Do you think our yorkies know how much we wait on them hand and paw? Before I can even sit down to relax, there are so many things I have to do. I have to feed and walk the dog first before I can even think of relaxing. Whenever I go to the beach or travel anywhere, I have more stuff pack for my little one than I do for myself. At bath time, she has her own towel, brush and special shampoo. On bath days, she gets fed, walked and a bath so I end up feeling like most of my day was spent catering to her highness . Of course when I am all done pampering her, I give her a big kiss only to watch her 5 minutes later roll around in dirt, and poop on the carpet . Do they even appreciate us? Some days I feel so used. I guess I should be used to it by now because my cat has been treating me the same way for 13 yrs! |

| (laughing) I tell everyone that it was easier raising my daughter who is now22 yrs old, than it is raising these puppers! They require far more work out of me than she did! But on the flip side....I can't imagine my life without them. They certainly do bring a lot of laughter to our home.

| No, I don't think they *know* But with Remy all he wants to do is please you. And he knows what is expected of him, and rarely makes "mistakes" so I'd say its a fair trade off |

| 12 horses in a barn was much easier that this little guy. I swear he has more energy than the whole herd. But the crazy funny things he does are so worth it.

| Dolly went through an "independent" (aka ungrateful!) stage where she treated me like I was just the person who gave her food and interupted her playing, when she was about 5 months old. She's back to the much sweeter & cuddlier dog I fell in love with now, wanting to spend all her time in my lap, waiting for me by the door when I come back, wanting to put her toys in my month even! But there were a couple weeks I was wondering if I was just her maid, not her mama! |

| Well... maybe it's just me but I think they do. Maybe b/c 3 of them are rescues... Maggie for example is not the cuddlie kissie type and has been through a lot so when I do something that makes her feel better (like a bath) she comes up to me and gives me a shy little kiss. For me that means more than the endless kisses from our other ones. Maggie also didn't have a tail when we got her (it was tucked away all the time) and now she has the middle name "Propeller Tail". I never saw a dogs tail, or stub in this case, go so fast! |
