| Life is Full of Changes As our kids go back to school and some of us return back to work, let's take a moment to reflect that life is full of changes. For all the new Yorkie owners out there going through the 'growing pains' with their new additions, embrace them while they are little, because they will grow up quickly, just as our kids do... For all those that have happy and healthy Furbabies and (in my case), children, let's take a moment to be thankful. For those that are hurting and seeking comfort, let's not forget those animals and people in our thoughts; keep them in your prayers. I meditate on Mondays to give my week a boost (although I'm posting this a little late with my hectic schedule), and wanted to share my thoughts with you before I go try to convince my 5 year old that she can't wear a tutu to school today (still counting my blessings). (: I hope you all have a wonderful week. I am thankful for the YT community, and am thankful to have a place to come and get helpful advice for Khloe as she goes through her puppy years. Thank you!

| Great post. It's easy for me to get caught up with all the caos of life & forget to count my blessings. I have 4 kids & a new furbaby. All are healthy & VERY active. I usually get overwhelmed with it all when I should be thankful that they can all run and play together b/c they are healthy & happy. BTW, did your 5 year old just start K this year? Mine did... She didn't even need Mommy to walk her to class on her second day. She's so grown up! |

| Four kids tells me that you are a patient and kind person (even with help), but it does make it a lot easier to have a support system. I can tell a difference since I moved far away from my Mom and their Mimi! Especially with a high energy bunch; we are high energy also. Aspen thinks she is 'Kung-Fu Panda'; they think that they are invincible at this age. I'm so thankful for little Khloe because they have calmed down so much realizing that they could accidentally hurt her while horse playing. And I am happy because she mellows them out and helps them to find more gentler activities to play with one another; puppy is well, children are well, and Mum is happy because I don't have to go to the vet or the hospital. Counting my blessings again. lol.

Um, tell your 5 yr old that I'm w/ her - I think it would've been completely fun and outrageous if I'd worn a Tutu to work today .

| I'll let her know you support the Tutu dress code ; it will make her giggle to hear the news. I'm pretty easy on her as far as what she wears; she's 5 and I actually let her wear it with spandex Capri pants underneath. I pick and choose my battles, and this morning I was satisfied as long as they were both clean, fed, and they let me style their hair. I'm very grateful, and if I don't have my mushy moments to reflect, I get in a bad mood, and my whole weekly outlook is just pathetic. And bad outlooks are contagious, so I try to stay happy and optimistic as much as I can. My fiance' says that I give myself 'weekly pep talks' to make it through. lol.
