| I could really use some support. Im so disgusted right now i cant think. I just got a call from my grandmother, she was so upset i could hardly understand her but when i did i just burst into tears. She has two shelties a boy(rocky) and a girl (miley) they are both great dogs well yesterday when she was out doing some errands she left her dogs out in the yard,my uncle and five cousins live with her.She got a frantic call and when she got home her little girl was dead she had choked to death. The story she got was that the two dogs wear playing and the lead got wrapped around her neck and she choked. but one the lead in in the air she could not have wrapped it around her own neck. and two my uncle would have seen that and got her lose,it would have taken a long time. she thinks that my cousin and his friend my have done it but his parents wont believe he had anything to do with it even though we caught the boy beating a cat last winter because it slept under his porch the only other option is that my grandmothers ex-boyfriend did this but i don't find this likely he loves dogs and he can be spiteful to humans but i could never see him hurting a animal im just so torn up i don't know what to do im really angry that no one will be punished and i fear for her little boy. i guess i just need some friends.

| OMG That is just so horrible, first to have it happened then to suspect that someone did it deliberately. The poor woman, I would be devastated. What a horrible situation to be in, to suspect that your grandson did it and he lives under her roof. I pray she can find out the truth because living like that would be horribly stressful. |

| Personally I would not point fingers. It may have just been a freak accident. Without any proof that is a horrible thing to say someone did. Could your grandmother bring the dog in for a necroscopy? I'm sure they would be able to determine the cause of death. I'm so sorry this is just terrible. Last year my Stormy passed away and I was so upset over her death I was blaming my husband for it because it happen while I was not home that she died. It was terrible of me to blame him and he was very very hurt by my accusations that he just "let her die". When I came home after getting my frantic call from my husband was about 20 mins or so and for all that time he was giving her CPR she was long gone and he just couldn't stop he said because he knew how much I loved her and how devastated I would be. I just wanted to share this so perhaps you could understand that maybe it wasn't done on purpose and it is just hurtful to say someone let the dog die or killed it. You just never know. Again I don't know the people who live at your grandmas but I'd like to believe they wouldn't of killed the dog. |

| I agree. Even if it were an accident, I'd still be wondering & concerned. Time for them to move out. |

| I am so sorry. Whatever happened, this is a tragic loss. I appreciate you taking the other dog while you find answers. That is a very smart and wise decision. If the child harms animals, he may have social problems that could be very severe. Please evaluate him very well and don't back away until you have answers. |

| How horrible... I really hope that the kid did not kill the dog I'm glad to hear that he is coming to live with you... it will be safer for him. Serial killers often start out hurting and killing animals, so I would take this very seriously if he really did kill her
