| New To Group I just found this group and love reading all about everyone's babies. My first dog was a Yorkie and she lived till 15 years old. I am currently looking for a Yorkie puppy. I prefer the larger Yorkies as mine was 10 lbs. Most of what I am finding is very, very small dogs. I live in Northern VA. I tried to find a rescue Yorkie but have only found groups with young Yorkies 3+ hours away from me. And, the criteria to adopt a Yorkie rescue dog is more extensive than any other rescue dog I have adopted before. I feel a younger dog will integrate better with the dogs I have now. Any help in finding a puppy will be greatly appreciated. Kim |

| Welcome to YT I am also new and prefer the larger yorkies too. I just brought home 2 rescue yorkies 2 months ago and they are not growing fast enough for me lol they are about 4 lbs now.... I don't think they will be as big as my 9 lb yorkie oh well I still love them but I still hope they get bigger..
