| Might have found a Puppy I called this lady today in my area she is very nice pups are AKC seen pictures of the parents.I am calling latter to make a apointment to see your puppies. She had a health contract on her website does it look like a good one?I really dont know what to look for in one. Birth Date: __________________ AKC Registration ID __________________ Microchip ID: _________________ Sex: _______________________________ Color: ___________________________ Sales Price: _________________________ Buyer name(s): _____________________________ Date Deposit Received: ___________ Balance Due: ____________________ Date Balance due: _______________________ Date Balance Received: ___________ Date Puppy Delivered: ______________________ Seller will take every effort to guarantee that every puppy from My Rock Star Yorkies is in good health at the time of adoption. We will not ship a puppy until Seller is certain that the puppy is ready for the trip to your home and has passed a veterinary health inspection and is free from any illness (at least 8 weeks of age). The AKC papers, microchip papers (if applicable) and vaccination records will be sent along with your puppy along with a sample of puppy food. Because we cannot control the exposure of the puppy after leaving us, your new puppy must be examined by a licensed veterinarian within 48 hours of receiving your puppy. When taking your puppy to the vet, don't allow its feet to touch anything unless it has been sterilized with bleach. If you choose NOT to do this, this contract is VOID. We guarantee our puppies for 30 days against life-threatening infectious disease provided Buyer does not expose the puppy to any unvaccinated animals, or go to any public place before 10 days after the last vaccination was given. We do not guarantee against Giardia or Coccidia, which conditions are often stress-induced and easily treated. Seller warrants the health of the puppy for the first twelve (12) months of life against genetic hereditary life-threatening diseases involving the heart, liver and kidneys. If ever a replacement puppy is deemed necessary due to one of the above-listed life-threatening diseases, the replacement will be made for the same or less value of puppy, unless Buyer prefers to pay the difference for a more valuable puppy. Buyer must return the puppy along with all registration papers, immunization papers, microchip registration papers, etc, along with a letter from a licensed veterinarian stating the type of condition/illness that the puppy is exhibiting in order to determine if a replacement is to be made to Buyer. Should a death occur, due to an unknown cause, a necropsy must be performed by a licensed veterinarian and a copy of the report forwarded to Seller for review by Seller's veterinarian before determining if a replacement is to be made. If our vet concurs, we will replace your puppy as soon as one is available. There will be absolutely no cash refunds! All expenses are at Buyer's expense including the licensed veterinarian diagnosis and necropsy, if applicable, and the return shipping and shipping of a replacement puppy. Puppies and small dogs are susceptible to hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), which can be brought on by a number of reasons such as not eating properly or frequently enough, playing too much, the stress of being moved to a new home or just being handled too much. Please watch your puppy closely and make sure it is eating regularly. Puppies can also go through high stress during moves to their new homes, changes in diet as well as too much handling by the new owners and can bring on parasites that can be dormant such as worms and ear mites. Every preventative effort has been made by Seller (wormings, shots and ear cleanings) to guard against these types of problems, but Buyer should be aware of them possibly occurring. Watch your puppy closely for runny and/or bloody stools. These conditions are all treatable and do NOT warrant a return or exchange of said puppy. Small puppies and dogs are very fragile and every precaution should be made in handling them. Their bones are tiny and they are easily injured. This contract is NOT applicable for accidental injury to the puppy. Seller does not guarantee against shipping mishap once the puppy is in the care of the airline. Insurance is provided in the shipping cost and any claims for damages while shipping shall be made by the Buyer directly to the airline. While Seller will make a good faith effort to estimate the color and size of the puppy based on past litters and size of the parents, Seller does NOT and CANNOT guarantee size, color, temperament or fertility (including presence of testicles) of any puppy. We represent our puppies as beautiful, loving pets. IN THE EVENT THAT THIS DOG IS MISTREATED, NEGLECTED, ABUSED IN ANY WAY, KEPT OUTSIDE IN EXTREME HEAT OR EXTREME COLD CONDITIONS OR KEPT ON WIRE FLOORING, SELLER WILL HAVE THE RIGHT TO REPOSSESS THE DOG IMMEDIATELY, ALONG WITH ALL AKC PAPERS AND HEALTH RECORDS. FURTHER, BUYER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH SELLER REPOSSESSION ATTEMPTS. ANY COURT COSTS AND ATTORNEY FEES NECESSARY TO ENFORCE THIS CONTRACT SHALL BE PAID BY BUYER. THIS GUARANTEE APPLIES TO ORIGINAL OWNER ONLY, AND IS NOT TRANSFERRABLE. By signing below, the parties agree to the terms as described above. |

| I looked at her website. Something sends up a red flag to me - she has a link to her poodles page, and she ships worldwide. I have never heard of teacup poodles before. But she also describes her stud yorkie as a teacup! I would do some more checking if I were you

| http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...p-puppies.html PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE read this link before you consider this breeder. The fact that teacups do not exist is a red flag. Also the article mentioned in this post states that it is unsafe to breed anything under 3lbs, one of the mothers is only 3lbs. Many times anything that small must be delivered via a C-section and can be really hard on the mom and the puppies.

I am the kind of pet owner that takes care of my animals,I do regular vet visit.I keep my dog in the yard at all times,If outside of the house my pets are always on a leash or my arms.I play and love on them.I live in a stable home,& I work from home. They are furkids and need lots of love. You are right though I need to know everyting there is to know about there health and the breeder. She said something about the AKC making visits once a year to inspect? Also a pup having hypoglicima is that something that is going to be a longtime thing or a puppy thing? She awnsered my questions about the liver shunts although I think the female I asked about was the smallest of the bunch. The rest were males & I am looking for a female. Any questions I should ask when I visit her? Thank You all again =) Will go look at the poodle site..... Last edited by ViviDior; 08-03-2010 at 10:20 AM.

| I wouldn't get a puppy from her. I don't like the look of her site and she has far too many mommy dogs. For me, its too much like a business and not enough like a caring responsible breeder.

My breeder said the only thing she regretted about me buying from her, was that I didn't go look at someone else first. My breeder goes above and beyond normal, cares so dearly about her dogs it almost unnormal... she didn't know much about business, and just cared about the dogs, and the customer service. I knew when I met her that it was right... but seeing something that isn't perfect really will let you know when you find the "right" breeder. I would also ask about these "teacup" dogs, feel her out, and see what she says. I'd also find out if she shows, in my area, it's a red flag if they don't... mainly because they don't care enough about the breed to see how they rank against others... this is important even if you are just buying a companion. Another sign of a good breeder is one who wont just give a show dog to anyone. A great breeder will require you have the dog spayed or neutered, unless they know they can trust thier lineage in your hands. Even if you just want a companion, ask about it... see what she says. If she's willing to just hand a stranger a show dog, that's a major red flag. Good luck, please just be careful and watch for red flags.

This is one of the WORST contracts i've seen, telling you that giardia is a stress induced problem and easy to treat. while there are treatments for this PARASITE it does cause diarrhea and a wee puppy can go down fast from it...if they get coccidia or giardia they are getting it from unclean and contaminated breeding facilities NOT from stress. This breeder sells at 8 weeks old and ships all over the place. they are not reputable and NOT even close to a good breeder RUN AWAY if you want honest advice from someone who works in a pet hospital and sees pets coming from bad breeders like this one who are sick and cost hundreds in vet bills due to a poor choice of breeder. this is NOT a good place to get a puppy. thanks. you will find a healthy and wonderful puppy from a good breeder somewhere, keep looking until you get a great breeder who supports you for the life of the puppy and does not VOID a contract if you don't bleach everything the puppy touches. that's ridiculous. good luck hon, walk away from this lady and find someone else that will support you and give you a healthy puppy and back you up with their word and contract.

| also i noticed her stud bam bam is 3lbs. that's below the standard. she's breeding non standard pups as the "father" to most of her puppies...that means the puppies were bred with a dog that is NOT AKC standard. |

| I think RachelandSadie have a good point. I forgot about the shipping thing. Good breeders only ship if its a neccessity... (and by that I mean if there are no breeders in your area, and have already approved you, my breeder ships to Newfoundland if the family comes and visits her place and gives a mile long list of references) I would also ask her what her requirements are for buyers... if she doesn't have any sort of a checklist or things she looks for in a buyer... another red flag.. Good luck

| her pups aren't worth $1000 u are getting ripped off big time if you buy from her, save that money and you can go with an amazing reputable breeder for about the same cost. sorry to post so much, just noticing red flags all over the place with her. if i were to spend a thousand on a puppy i'd sure want it to go to the best breeder possible...this one is no better than those that post in the papers for about $350, her prices and her actions are not the same, she's overcharging for non standard and not perfect pups. | I wouldn't even go look. Too easy to fall in love with a puppy's pleading eyes. You may end up regretting going to look.
