| Yorkie with an other dog Someone asked me to purchase for them a 6 week old Female Yorkie for her who will be picking the Yorkie up in 1-2 weeks. Upon retrieving the Yorkie she will be living in another home with another dog that is a few years older. The dog has had its shots however hasn't been spayed. Where as the Yorkie has yet to receive her all her shots. She has only been able to get shots that are required up to her age. What are if any the dangers of the Yorkie being introduced to this other dog. The dog is a pit. Some say he is full pit others say he is not. But its owners say he is very well behaved. Are there ways things that can be done to ensure the saltiness of the Yorkie inside the same home with the pit regardless of full breed or not. |

| 6 weeks is way to young for the yorkie to be leaving its mother. Your friend should wait until the puppy is at least 12 weeks old to even bring it home.

| OMG!!! This is WAAAAAYYYYY to young to leave mommy! And a Pit Bull is a Pit Bull is a Pit Bull. I know they are very sweet and loving WITH HUMANS but I wouldn't trust them with another dog besides the size and weight difference. The Pit could hurt the fragile tiny puppy just by gently tapping it with his paws... |

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | This puppy shouldn't be receiving any shots at 6 weeks, it's way too young. Any breeder that would send a pup home at that time is someone who your friend should be running away from at top speed. It's also illegal in NY to sell a puppy under 8 weeks of age.
