| beach anyone??? I've been wanting to take allie (1 year) to the beach, but am concerned with it being so hot. Would she be able to stay for a couple of hours, I would bring her water and snacks, but would not want her to get overheated, sunburned, or sick. Any tips?? Or should we leave her home til its cooler. |

| We have a place at the Beach and I've only taken Bri for 20-30 minutes at a time. We let her play in the water a little and then she was ready to go home. She was more interested in growling at other dogs and birds. (She thinks she's human and not a dog). I would suggest trying it out, but make sure she has a ton of water and shade! We take Bri on the boat all the time and she loves it, so there is a possibility Allie might as well. A few hours might be a little long though, I'd try intervals to make sure she'll be okay!

| I'll have to try it by myself , hubby & kids want to go but its about 45 minutes away, they r not going to want to stay for 30 minutes. It's so hot going to be close to 100 today , common sense says way too hot for her. Or go later in afternoon when suns going down. |

| Yeah!! I'd probably try it another time when you can go for a shorter amount of time. If she hated it, you'd be miserable! Especially with it being 45 min away!

| We just took our 6 month yorkie to the beach and after a few trips up and down the beach playing in the water we wld take her inside. If u have a shade for her it might be fine. I would also suggest a cooler with lots if ice packs to lay beside her to cool her off. This works well for us when we go to car shows. Don't forget her sunscreen! :-) let us know how it turns out. |
