| Is this a puppymill website? In my quest for a female yorkie I have come across a lot in my search so far, I was searching for breeders in Quebec and found this site..puppymill? Mtl. - Montreal Yorkie Puppies for Sale by Yorkshire Terrier Breeders - Montreal, Laval, Longueuil, Terrebonne, Repentigny, Brossard, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, and Blainville

| I wouldnt doubt it. Even if they werent I'd not walk, but RUN from purchasing a puppy from them. Not only do they let dogs go before 12 weeks, but their "lifetime" guarantee doesnt cover anything. The genetic defects they claim to cover contradicts itself in paragraph 20 "limitations of lifetime guarantee". They disclude common genetic diseases that run in yorkies. Also in that paragraph they state that you must keep all receipts for purchases of quality food and supplements they recommend and if you dont keep those, then it voids the contract. I've never heard of that. Then, whats the deal with not being able to vaccinate the puppy for 10 days after you've received it?? What floored me was in the contract it says they are not responsible for typographical or photographic errors--meaning they probably wont be sending the same dog in the pics. Your liable to end up with a very low quality pup that was not what you thought you were purchasing and you would have no recourse. I didnt think the puppies looked so good. I think its possible that they are brokers. For the prices of these puppies, you can find one cheaper from a reputable breeder with a honorable contract worthy of your signature. |

| Also, it states in their contract that any legal action has to be taken up in the state of Florida...they arent even in canada. In the state of florida, its illegal to sell puppies before 12 weeks of age. Im curious what thats all about. |

| I am thinking broker. They are the middle man for breeders and families purchasing a pup. This looks like a shady way for breeders to hide themselves through this "organization" I give a BIG thumbs down. |

| I'm not in law school yet... going in a year or so, but I do know one thing... a proper contract needs to have both parties and a witness spot... this only has you... it looks like you're just signing away your rights. There is no place that outlines who the breeder or seller is... and that's bad. If you do have problems after year one, you are supposed to go after the breeder... but you don't know who that is... It is NOT a contract I would want my name on.... Plus it just looks sketchy too.

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | They are brokers: All of our Yorkie puppies for sale are from some of the most respected national and local Yorkie breeders. The Yorkshire Terrier puppies for sale on our website are not necessarily all of the available Yorkie puppies we have. Our Yorkie breeders have new litters all the time.

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | They are doing this nationwide in the US. Wow, in Canada too, I had no clue. I saw it on www.texasbreeders.com They are definitely brokers! I didn't know what it was about, but I called their number to ask them. The lady said all the right things, like the breeders go thru a 4-6 month approval process before they can advertise their puppies with them. To insure they are not puppy mills and BYB's. But, what I didn't understand was finding a dog local to you, they still ship to you. You can not go to the breeders home even if they are 5 minutes away. This was very troubling. I am sure the contract is signed by the breeder when they bring it to you to be a good contract, but I don't think it is right not to be able to meet the breeder and ask about their lines and health from not on the sire and dam but thru on their 5 year generation. I was floored that someone is making money this way, but it appears they are going worldwide. You learn alot on YT, the way breeding is supoosed to be done. This is scary!! I would run, I sure did! | It gave me a really bad feeling, I can't believe all the puppies out there, it's so sad. I'm looking for a female yorkie, and now that I know so much more ( Thanks to YT )since I purchased my first yorkie, finding one from a reputable breeder is a little more work !

| Brokers definitely. And what reputable caring breeder would ever think of selling through a third party of any sort? Besides none!! |
