| Car harness I am looking at car harnesses for my girl. I know I want padded but I am not sure which is the best one. Some hook into the seat belt itself and others on the strap. I want her to be able to sit and lie down with some movement but not fall off the seat. Anyone with suggestions? I have lookd at solvit, bergan, easy rider. Thanks |

| I don't know. I use a car seat and hook her harness to that. Maybe someone else can help though so I'll bump this up. |

| Here is a link to one that I just bought. It is supposed to be big enough to hold both of my Yorkies but they sell smaller sizes for one dog. I haven't received it yet, but I can let you know if I like it once it gets here! https://secure.petco.com/Shop/Product.aspx?SKU=236675 If the link doesn't work, go to petco.com and search for the following item number: 236675

| Car I have the Lookout for my two girls. The seatbelt goes around the back park and buckles in, then there is a strap that attaches to the seatbelt and you can hook your babies harness to. Both my girls fits in with plenty of room (both a little over 3 lbs). I just made Ally my model and attached pictures. Hope this helps. |

| I bought the Easy Rider a while back and I thought it was a waste of money. Maybe it just didn't work for me. I bought the Snoozer Lookout also recently and really love it so far. Here's a thread about opinions on the best car seat. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...t-carseat.html I think you are better off with something that sits on the seat, rather than just a harness. This way your little one can look out the window. Oh, and the pictures above are awesome!

| LOL awww. Sometimes I just take Cooper for car rides around the block so he doesn't think it's to the vet each time.

| Ally used to love going for car rides until we adopted a little sister for her and found out she had giardia, coccidia (spelling???), and ringworm. My poor girls have been going to the vet every two to three weeks and taking baths every two days. They hate both now! But aside from that, we love the carseat. When it is not in the car, Ally uses it to look out the windows at squirrels. |

| Lookout Quote:
Pico the Mellow Maltese has used the lookout seat and strap without a problem for 8 years but when I put Tank the Yorkshire Terror in it he twisted around until the strap was tightly wound around his leg. I panicked because it was soooo tight! I had to cut it to get it off quickly because it had been there for several minutes before I noticed and I was afraid it would damage his leg. Now I'm looking for a different restraint for Tank. Also, I love the Lookout but I recommend removing it from your car when not in use because the Texas sun rotted the nylon cover. | I carry the bergan after meeting with them at a trade show. I was impressed with what they put into the harnesses. |
