More Questions When I bring my new baby boy home: 1. Can he share a pen with Maggie? 2. Does he need his own crate and bed or can they share these. Any other advice would be greatly appreciated. These may sound like obvious questions but sometimes us men do not know these things. Thank you- Jimmy

Hey Jimmy! I have two girls and they do not share well. lol I have heard that boys-girls get laong better than 2 girls though. For us, we do seperate crates and beds to ensure safety and my older girl can get some peace when she needs it. I think they should be supervised when together at first. That will allow you to see how they will interact. Have you thought about how you will introduce your new guy to Maggie? Doing this properly can ensure Maggie does not feel threatened by the new kid. HAs Maggie met her new brother yet?

Here are a few sites I found after I brought Cooper home. Hopefully they can help you if you've not thought about introducing them yet. Introducing a Dog to Other Pets : The Humane Society of the United States Introducing a new dog to your resident dog

Questions No Maggie is 5 months old but she has not met her new brother. He is only three weeks old so it will be a while before he comes to live with us.

Ok. How exciting! Glad you are thinking about things now. He's 3 weeks so you should have at least 9 weeks to get ready for him. Good luck to you.
