| :) Houston area Yorkies Hi y'all, I found this forum this past May when I bought a new Yorkie and came here for advice. As a first time puppy buyer, I was just so excited and thought she was so cute, I didn't do my research. I had a heartbreaking experience buying the first Yorkie that came my way. She had distemper and had to be euthanized. I was amazed at all the love and support I received from the great people at Yorkietalk. Since then I have tried to learn all I can about these wonderful dogs, and I have tried to find a good breeder, but it seems like word of mouth from your experiences might be a better way to find a healthy dog. It is just hard for me to trust after my experience. I will never stop missing my Stormy, but I do think I am ready to give my heart to a new furbaby. I would really appreciate help from my fellow Houstonians. There are too many shady brokers around here! Thanks so much. -Jena |

| Thank you for the welcome back! And, maybe there are some Houstonians out there today that see this and know good breeders I can look into? |
