peeing on floor My 6 month old yorkie,Max,was doing really well peeing on his wee wee pad.He seems to have a problem with pooping on it.He must poop on it 1 time out of fifty But,he was doing good with peeing on it almost all the time,at least 99% of the time! Now,for some reason,he is peeing and pooing on the floor! One thing he would never do,is pee on the couch when I'm sitting there(He only sits on the couch when I'm with him, other wise he's in the kitchen.Where he stays until he is 100% potty trained)Yesterday he peed on the couch!!!Something he NEVER does!!!If he had to go potty on the couch,he would bark or let me know. Then I would bring him in the kitchen, and he would go potty on the pad.Lately it seems like he's getting worse instead of better! Why!!??!!Just so you know,I do walk him at least 6 times a day,and he does go potty outside too! What should I do!!What is wrong with him!??!! Is he being spiteful? He has an appointment to get snipped on August 4Th,will that help his peeing problem?Do you think he is marking?Help!! Last edited by Maxman; 07-17-2010 at 05:47 AM.

I am trying to potty pad train my little 1 year old. I have been told by a lot of trainers that Yorkies are one of the hardest breds to potty train. She goes on the potty pad about 90% of the time. She will walk over to her pad and act like she is going but then go by the doorway and pee or poo. One of the trainers told me to either train to go outside or go on the potty pad, never try to train both ways at the same time because they get confused. I have also talked to lucky people that say their Yorkie was not hard to house train. Goes to show you every dog is different Macy's Mom

My yorkie does the same thing! He was doing so well on his wee wee pad, but now he hardly uses it! I'm not sure what to do about it, considering we are renting a house and he's going all over their carpet! -_-'
