| New Baby I have an 18 month old Yorkie female, Lexie. She is a good dog and behaves pretty well. My daughter gave birth on July 1 to a precious little boy, Lawson. They are at my house a great deal and I will take care of Lawson when his Mother goes back to work in September. Lexie constantly licks Lawson, particularly his feet and head. I need some tips on how to transition her with him. She isn't territorial or vicious; she just wants to lick him. Any tips? |

| sounds like she's claimed him as her own. I'd just keep the baby far enough away that she can't lick him. Too cute though.

| My 2 want to lick me constantly. If you find a way to stop this behaviour other than keeping them away please let me know. I love Yorkie kisses but it gets in the way of the computer screen, TV, or whatever else I may be trying to watch or do. LOL. Congratulations on you grandchild.
