| Perks of Owning a Dog I've never owned a dog before I got Bailey. I had no idea how wonderful it would be! I've never seen anything as excited as he gets when I come home, and if I get up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night he always gets up and comes with me. What cute/sweet things do your doggies do? |

Poppy's Mamma ♥ Donating Member | Unconditional love is the number one perk of owning a dog, they really are mans best friend and would follow you to the ends of the earth. Both Jess and Poppy go crazy when I come home. They love to give cuddles and kisses. I love it when they bring toys to me for play time

| OMG my life has changed drastically just in the one month of owning my little furbaby! I always have a little companion wherever I go, when I say "Lets go night night!" he runs to my bedroom door jumping up and down and then curls up in my chest in bed with me, I always have a little bathroom buddy whenever I'm getting ready in the mornings and although it breaks my heart when I have to leave him and hear him whimper, he is always the first to greet me with TONS of puppy kisses and tail wagging I will never again live life without my yorks!

| Jackson totally changed my life-- for the better. He's honestly my best friend and companion. The unconditional love is the best part of owning a dog for me.

| Just holding and petting Chloe can make any bad day better. My particular favorite is when she gets up in my lap, lays her head on my chest and gazes up at me with the sweetest expression on her face! Of course, generally just when she's got me lulled into a false sense of security she then tries to lick my nose/chin/mouth or whatever she can reach but even that's adorable!!! What would we do without our furry other halves??? -C

| Troy is the result of me loosing a companion animal. I had to steer away from my favorite breed (cocker spaniel) because it hurt too much to see another. Troy filled a void and he's awesome. He was originally for my daughter but has become more so my little man than hers! Gotta love someone who'll snuggle with you and keep the otherside of the bed warm! |

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | I love that I have a place to print words that I am about to type that would make a lot of people I know and love.....gag. It is so mushy sweet when Priscilla sees me get her gown out of the drawer how she walks up the bed steps and sits on the mattress to be dressed for bed. Then when we both have our gowns on like proper ladies, she gets under the covers and lays beside me. I am telling you....I could plotz and go straight to heaven. She is like a warm loaf of bread laying beside me and if I died in my sleep...it would take an undertaker 3 days to get the smile off my face. |

| Well, one of the perks of being owned by a dog was that my migraines disappeared. The unconditional love is the best perk of all. My babies accept me for who I am.

One of the reasons I got Bailey is because I suffer from panic attacks and Generalized Anxiety Disorder. I had to drop out of school and quit work because of it, and had a lot of time at home with my anxiety. So far, after getting Bailey, I haven't had another panic attack. I'm on medication for it too, but my anxiety and anxious times have basically disappeared since getting him. He's just relaxing to be around and taking care of him gives me something outside myself to focus on. Never would have guessed a dog could do all that! I haven't had one since I got my first Yorkie back in 1984. I swear having Penni is what got rid of my migraines. So happy that Bailey has got rid of your anxiety attacks.

| This may sound silly but I found I grow empathy for person with toy breed. I used to find them frustrating because they snap at my cattle dog and now I has better understanding of how special they is. So, empathy and understanding for other doggie parent

| Bella was my husband's furbaby until he died ... then she graciously adopted me to help me through the sorrow. She has a miraculous effect on my blood pressure and anxiety. I've dropped my pressure 20 points by simply closing my eyes and remembering her sweet kisses and being in my arms. I love my Yorkies. They bring joy to my life. And sometimes, they're the reason I *stay* in this life. They are the most marvelous of God's multi-footed creatures. |
