| Knitting anyone? Anyone knit sweaters for their little ones? I am always looking for new patterns. I have some from an Etsy shop that are very cute. It is hard to find such small ones.

Poppy's Mamma ♥ Donating Member | I dont, but I wish I could! I know there are a lot of members here who make their own stuff though. I'm sure someone will help you with some new patterns and designs soon

| I made Maggie May a sweater last year and hope to do some more knitting for them. I made up the pattern myself. I am a crocheter and would love to knit like I crochet one day. That is when and if I ever get any time! It's not hard really. I got a book that another yt member used. I haven't made anything out of there-they have some really cute patterns. I bought it online from Walmart.

| Your babies are so cute! I can see why you might need sweaters in Canada! Though I don't knit I crochet and made Sprocket some sweaters last fall after 1 trip to the vet. I didn't think that southern CA would be that cold, little did I know! Vets are so expensive. Anyway. I got my pattern online at www.craftser.org go to the dog patterns, sweaters etc. You have to modify them to make them small enough but once you get the back long enough then it's only the neck piece, then the belly bands. One set of belly bands I made solid and one I used velco, they have to be easy on/off and easy wash. I used ReadHeart cheapy cause they have nice colors and easy to use. Takes about one evening to make one sweater AND if you have a model who is easy to work with (I didn't). You can build in the D ring to the sweater or just put the harness on over. But for us, Sprocket never could quite get the hang of not peeing on the sweater, so we washed them ALOT, good thing they are cheap and easy. When you make them I hope you show us. Good luck with your models though.

| I don't knit but I do crochet. I got most of my patterns online by doing a search. I did find quite a few patterns that way with size adjustments. Patterns without adjustments I just adjusted myself. |

| Wow, I never thought of this but now I will look for nice patterns so I can knit Merlin a warm sweater. My mother will be so happy if she hears that, she is asking me every time when we are on the phone if I started knitting again.
