| United Yorkie Rescue always has some up for adoption in Fl. if you want to look at their site: United Yorkie Rescue - A 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Yorkshire Terrier Rescue Organization Other than that, I'm sure you will hear from some breeders in and around FL. Good luck in your search.

| I know a excellent breeder in Douglasville Georgia. This is where I got my 2 males. If the female is pregnant now as they expect she should have puppies ready in fall.

| Yorkie I adopted Ally (my oldest) last February from a private breeder in Ft Pierce (right off I-95). Ally is the most loving dog and the breeder was very nice. Ally turned out to be a small 3 lbs 2 oz but her parents weren't that small. She is super healthy and was supposed to be bigger. Take a look at her pictures and I can give you her number so you can check if she will be having any around that timeframe. My other baby, Tia, came from Pensacola. I would not recommend them. She came with all kinds of problems. |

| Here's a post I put on Newbies' pages when they say they want a puppy. Thought it might help you make a wise choice. Before you purchase a little Yorkie, please read these links: Buying a dog? Beware of breeder Teacup Yorkies - Health Issues Why You Shouldn't Buy a Puppy Online! Prisoners of Greed - Puppy Mill List Buying a Yorkie? READ THIS FIRST! Yorkshire Terrier Club of America – Breeder Referrals How much is a Yorkie puppy? Cutting Corners So be very careful. Do lots of research. Stay far away from pet stores and on-line breeders at all costs. Puppy mill operators have learned to talk the talk of good breeders. Their web sites are usually wonderful, alluring, and have positive feedback from supposed customers. Make sure that you ALWAYS are able to go to the breeder's home and see the environment that your furbaby has been raised in. It's worth the extra effort, time, and money. Remember that anyone may join YorkieTalk.......back-yard-breeders and puppy mill owners. Best wishes in your search. ~Joanne~

Poppy's Mamma ♥ Donating Member | It would be nice if you could rescue one from your local shelter but I know there arn't many puppies there. If it's a puppy your after you could check the YT breeders section of google breeders local to you, Good luck.

| Yorkie Thank you. Ally is our empty-nest baby and we love her to death. She is searching the windows and sliding glass door right now for squirrels to cross the fence. She loves to go outside and chase them. It drives her crazy. Tia is still sleepy and is lying beside me on the couch. I think she has a tummy ache because she was up all night. This breed is so addicting. I love them to death. |
