| I wouldn't say I went crazy, but I bought like 5 outfits, 2 dog beds, and got some toys. My baby came with a package of toys and a blanket, and such, so I really didn't have to buy much at all. But I do love spoiling Mango! He is like a child! Wants to be held all the time, and just loves playing, and spending time with momma (me!! ) |

| Well, I didn't go crazy either time. When we got Lil Bit, my husband got her -not in the best way possible I know. I had lost my Penni the year before at 15.1/2 years old. My husband was in the TV repair business and he went to this lady's house and fixed her TV, and instead of paying him she asked would he take one of her Yorkie puppies instead. He, not knowing any better, accepted. First I knew was when I went to pick him up from work and he had this little Yorkie puppy. I said how cute she was and asked who she belonged to (I thought he was probably just watching her for a few minutes). he said "she's yours". I have never been sure that she is a pure bred. But, when I got Beamer, before he arrived, I just went and bought some supplies - a harness, some Nutrical in case he needed some after the plane ride and a couple of toys, and a bag of the dogfood the breeder had him on - and the smallest size was a 20 lb bag!). However now I am buying him bows on a regular basis (Thanks BowBiz), and just ordered a harness vest for him.

| I have to say that I spoil my babies. I have a couple of dogs now (a Papillon and a Yorkie Mix) and will be getting 2 yorkie puppies in one week. My husband says that if there was such a thing as reincarnation then he wants to come back as a dog in our home . So I guess maybe I do go overboard some . We are a family of 5 so I guess everyone has there own dog in our home .

| Yes!!! And I sew, so I made him harness vests and beds! I have spent soooo much on Copper (a little bit at a time) - but it adds up! He has been worth it all so far!

| I collected things here and there way before Kaji came home. I started with some towels, then some blankets, then a bed, and then a cute basket for his stuff, then an ex-pen, then some bowls. I had everything stored under my bed in one of these. Enhanced View Once I knew Kaji was coming home, I bought one toy, a brush, a tooth brush, some shampoo and conditioner, and a kong. I guess it was half and half when it comes to necessary items. Now, all the fun stuff like a carrier, pjs, sweaters, t-shirts, and toys I've been accumulating slowly since he came home. Now he has over 20 outfits.

| Actually, I started going crazy AFTER the fact, LOL. Before I brought him home, I just bought the basics. Dog bowls, leash/collar/harness, crate and food, lol. Then he came home... and THEN I found YT hahaha.

| I blame YT for my overspending too. I have travel bowls (plastic) that I found at Target for $1, I would have never checked Target if it wasn't for YT. They're great for play dates. And the ideas for dressing him, and all the vendors are here. Yup, I blame YT.

| Before Miloh came home I only purchased his crate. The following day is when I went crazy & spent the remainder of my check. He got everything from food, his bed, toys, pads, clothes, bowls, collar and a leash. I must admit I was broke until the next payday. lol Last edited by e_gar; 07-11-2010 at 01:51 PM. |

| Actually, today I went a bit crazy. I was at Big Lots...and there was a diaper bag. Now I don't know why but this diaper bag is like a dog carrier. So well made...insulated, so I can wipe out any accidents, or anything. And then there was this doggy notebook. Called "My Best Friends Records" ....its like a doggy scrap book! You put the vet records in there, pictures, his weight month by month or year by year, his height and measurements, everything. It's so cute! It's like a baby memory book, but for our furbaby's!! THEN I bought this rubber toy...you fill it with treats and the dog chases its and tries to get them out. Mango just loves it! |
