| Is He Challenging Me? Sandy is 10 months old and potty trained since he was very young. When we were away for 2 weeks holiday in Asia this year, my best friend came over to look after Sandy. My best friend told me Sandy went around the apartment and peed wherever he wanted. It was hard to believe because we rarely had any accidents. My fiance was in the US for 2 weeks recently and I noticed Sandy started to pee in every single corner of our apartment. His pee pad was clean, no spots for 2 days (we always change it once a day). Sometimes he'd look at me and pee right in front of my eyes... I had to clean up everyday He even peed on my trousers one day! My fiance came back last Sunday and everything's back to normal. I haven't cleaned a pee spot since then! Why is my baby doing that? |

| Don't know if this is true but I heard dogs will mark when they are missing someone because they don't think you know the way back and in the wild they would mark everything so the pack could fine them. Just a thought! |

| Wow, that is strange. Dogs don't usually do things out of spite... because dogs just don't think that way. But that is definitely crazy things are back to normal now! Is he neutered?

| That is so sad and cute at the same time! It seems like a logical explanation though, based on the OP's description of the peeing.

| I don't know how dogs think but sometimes I feel like Sandy's doing a lot of things on purpose... I may sound crazy saying this. He only potty on his pee pad. Yesterday, I went to the bedroom, so he followed me. When I turned around, I saw his poo on my carpet... 2 days ago, I was watching TV, I saw Sandy ran really fast and hid under the bed. I didn't know what was going on.... until I saw his poo next to the couch. I've no idea why he's doing that. |
