| Camping with puppies?? I have two 13 week old Yorkie puppies and I was planning on going camping this weekend for three days. Just wondering what everyones thoughts are on if I should bring them or not. I bought an xpen/tent (link attached) so it's not like they would be running around or swimming or anything. Thanks Amazon.com: Best Pet Folding Play Pen - Medium -... |

| We take ours camping all the time with no problems, but he was six months old on our first trip. Not sure with such young ones. I would worry about their shots not having full effect yet. It does take a few weeks for shots to take full effect. Do they have their rabies shots yet, and all the other required shots? Most campgrounds around here must be shown proof of their shots before they can enter the campground. Hopefully someone else can help. Nice x pen by the way. |

| Ooo. I would definitely not take your little one camping yet. At 13 weeks your pups have not had all their vaccines (i hope) are totally unprotected from, well everything. You have purchased a very nice x-pen btw and it will come into wonderful use on future trips, just shouldn't be this one. |

| Murfee has been camping with us since he was about that age but I will admit that at first his feet seldom touched the ground. When he was really young I kept him in a front pack carrier most of the time. His favorite thing to do is to go camping. My DH says he has over 37,000 camping miles on him now.
