Do you think it may be more feesible to take up a collection for the little boy to have his new doggy shipped? It may be less stress on the dog because he is going from person to person who he is not familiar with and also driving long distances in a car. I had my Coco Shipped to me for $200 from a company called Petair. maybe you may want to look into that and some of us will be willing to donate money. It will cost about the same in gas and tolls for your railroad idea. Just something to think about. Here is their website. http://www.flypets.com/

I'm in NJ(/NY) and wouldn't mind helping.... But I suppose for the cost of gas I wouldn't mind putting in some money towards transport. Sure would get the little guy there faster..... Rather than spending days in a car

i also do rescue with ytnr and i know how you feel! i am in nc. ytnr transports yorkies sometimes through the goodness of it's members, "yorkie express state to state". i am down below va, about 1 hour 30 mins. i would be happy to help you if i can. just let me know. if i am able to help, it would not be through ytnr, but just because i would love to help in general. ytnr only funds the rescue of the dogs in their care. so everyone, please always donate to your local rescues! every little bit helps.

If 20 of us all pitched in 10 bucks he could be there pretty fast, Im in Wisconsin so Im of no help however I have made the Treck from here to Arlington and it took 18 hours.. Id be willing to donate if there was a paypal account set up to cover expences...heck if there is extra money in the account that would help with his first checkup at the vets and perhaps a few fun items the child could pick out like a collar and a leash and some fun bowls....plus it makes us all feel good to help. Keep us informed as to the direction you want to go.

| My paypal is not working either. He will need a crate to fly and I will not allow him to fly in cargo. My sweet and generous husband says we will give Tater Jack to this young man at no charge. I married the sweetest guy in the world! So if someone wants to arrange his shipping I can take him to St. Louis or to Indianapolis to the airport.
