| Leaving on vacation Hello!! I guess I'm looking for reassurance by writing this. I have a 6 month old Yorkie that I've had for 4 months. He is the love of my life. I will be leaving this weekend on vacation for 2 weeks to Greece. I am almost considering not going. I am so sad to leave him and I'm scared something will happen to him. I live with my parents and my baby loves my mom the same (possibly even more) as me. She'll be here to take care of him. He'll stay in our house so really the only thing that is changing is that I'm leaving. I think I'm paranoid b/c I stopped going to some training classes b/c the trainer was mean in my opinion and since he noticed that my yorkie was so attached to me and would hide under my chair during most of the class, he told me he was too attached to me and it's bad b/c if I ever leave he'll like die of sadness. I know I'm overreacting but I guess when I get depressed about leaving I think he's going to be too sad. He is very attached to me but I really wanted to go on this vacation. About two months ago, I left for 4 days and when I came back I thought he was going to have a heart attack, he was sooooo happy to see me. But this time it'll be 2 weeks. Has anyone had a similar experience, was everything ok when you got back? Thanks so much! Debbie |

| I went away for 2 weeks when Ruby was six months old and I was extremely worried she wouldn't remember me. Well, she was absolutely fine the whole time, I saw her on skype, and she was excited to see me when I got home and all was well again. Go enjoy your trip, your furbaby is in good hands and will welcome you when you come home.

YT 3000 Club Member | I left chester when he was about 5 months old for a week, and he done okay but I did miss him like crazy and I dont think now that he is older I could do it again, but since he is in your place he has all of your smells there so that helps, good luck, just try to have them keep to a routine like you do as much as possible |
