| They are wonderful companions! No one is your better buddy when you are sick, down, happy, excited I think you get the point. They are like little people who give you their heart 100%

| You must be new...spend 5 minutes reading this forum and you will quickly realize that Yorkies are the best companion you will find. They quickly transform from a cute little puppy to becoming one of your kids in the family. |

| They make awesome companions. However, I have seen some new yorkie parents come on here an complain that their new dog is too needy for their taste. Be warned that life will never be the same. You will no longer go potty by yourself, shower, eat, sleep, or pretty much do anything. Kaji waits patiently outside the tub for me to get out and he is quick to lick off all the water to dry me off. I wanted a little buddy and that's what I got. We go everywhere together.

| OMG YES YES YES!! I can't say enough how attached these little babies get to you, I'm new to yorkies and just got mine 3 weeks ago but he is already soo completely attached to me. He recognizes my voice too and gets excited by just hearing me. He will follow me EVERYWHERE and if I'm laying on the couch he will come and curl up as close as possible to me I don't think I will ever have another type of dog ever again, I'm soo in love with yorkies!! |

| Yes, yorkies are great companions, but they are also a lot of work. Before getting one, I highly recommend you research the breed. As another posted, if you like privacy when you go to the bathroom, forget it! Also note that if you're gone from home a lot and don't have the luxury of bringing your baby with you, it will be hard on the pup. They do not like being alone, and they really don't like being away from their "person". This means that even though someone else may be home, they much prefer it were you! I can go upstairs for two minutes, but by the way Addie acts when I come back downstairs, you'd think I'd been gone for a week!

| Yes, yorkies are great companions. Louis is the best dog I have ever seen. He follows me everywhere, sits with me on the couch. If I get up, he gets up. He is so lovable.

| A yorkie is a true companion animal. They love being near you and ours are like our children to us.

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | I think any dog is a great companion. Just be aware that every dog has it's own personality. Some yorkies are like velcro and won't let you out of their sight and others are very independent little ones.

| Yay! Haha I am 99.9% sure that I will be home with Mango! I am sooooo excited! I can't wait to go to Petco and Petsmart and picking out outfits and holding them up to him, and asking for his opinion (even though I know he won't talk to me back ) I have to find a carrier. what is a good size carrier for a 7-8 pound yorkie? |

| Lol, let's put it this way: in the 12 months since I brought Kimbo home, I've never had to go to the bathroom alone. My boy waits right outside the door! I always have a napping buddy and I always come home to millions of kisses. You'll love it.
