| Registering with AKC Do you all register your puppies with AKC even if you aren't breeding them? I've never sent my paperwork in, I'm not sure what the point is if you're not breeding. Should I send them? |

| I registered Gypsy, but if I had another pup that was AKC registerable, I would not do it. I never intend to breed a dog so what is the use. I just did it so I could say she is AKC. My other dogs were eligible for other registries ( I know akc is best) but I did not fool with it.

| I registered mine. Did so with my poodles too. But I don't think it's necessary. I mainly registered Zoe because it didn't seem that she was very happy here at first and I thought I might have to sell her and wanted proof that she was purebred. But I have no intention of ever breeding her!!!!!! Told the breeder that I didn't care about registering her either and she didn't seem to like that answer. But now Zoe seems to love it here and we love having her!! But registering is just an option...not a requirement so whatever you decide is fine.
