| Is she in a shelter and you want to adopt her? or what is the situation? I"m not far from Rancho and I'm a ytnr foster mom.

have you contacted this rescue already? What did they say? ETA: we do *sometimes* adopt out of state, but it's up to the family to come visit and meet, etc, and usually most people won't /can't do that. It's not a rule that we absolutely do NOT adopt out of state. It's just fairly seldom.

| What CN stated above is true...and I'm guessing you were probably trying to think ahead IF you are chosen to adopt that lil' cutie-pie! In any case a reputable rescue group would not approve an adoption without having done a home inspection and met the family interested in adopting. In any case, you would need to pick up your new dog yourself. So, that could mean driving or flying. I am a foster mom with YTNR as well, and I can tell you that if you could not come to meet AND pick her up...you would not be approved. If you can not afford the transportation factor than I'd recommend looking locally for a rescue group near you.

Thor's Human Donating Member | I'll be happy to participate in a yorkie train. However, I agree that it's crucial that you meet her in person first. Best of luck to you.
