| What do you think? Hi Yorkie Lovers.... I saw an add for a 16 month yorkie....and the lady sent me a picture and if it is possible to fall in love with a picture....I think I'm in LOVE. I currently have a toy poodle named Snow White....I would like to know if housebreaking is difficult for an older yorkie? Snow White was fairly easy to housebreak....I just took her out almost every hour and crated her at night and within 3 weeks....she would go to the door if she had to go. The lady said her yorkie is paper trained....I would also like to know if you think the male yorkie (16 months and neutered) would get along with my(10 month) toy poodle.....I am going to take snow white with to meet the yorkie......any feedback is appreciated |

| I fall in love with all the Yorkies I see..LOL I would want to know why this male is being placed, speak with the owners vet to see how his health is and any problems...otherwise I find most spayed/neutered adults adjust well coming into a new home...training takes time. Best wishes |

| Welcome to YT, I hope everything will work out for you and you can give this baby a new home? Do you know why he needs a new home? Can't answer the potty training question I am still working with my 3.

| Thank you for your replies...I called the young lady and asked for her Vet's name and number....she called and told him it was ok to talk to me...The vet said the dog was healthy and utd on all vaccinations...I asked him if he would fax the file to my vet (had to pay $5.00).My vet said he thought everything was fine and if we had the patience like we did with SNOWY.......he thought everything would be ok.......He suggested we take Snowy with us and see if they will get along......he told us not to rush it and take it SLOW.....her vet said that she was getting rid of him because her older yorkie does not get along with him....he said he has seen the older one go after the younger one and she has to keep them separated because of the older one.. I just talked to her a little while ago and she asked if we were still coming to meet him....of course we are....I'm so excited....I hope snow white and him will get along....please send us good thoughts!!!!!! |
