| Nose prints Who's had nose prints done for their pups? I will admit, I have done no research on this but re-read a thread in which nose prints were mentioned. What do you think?

| Oh yes, I have lots above my window seat. But seriously, are they supposed to be like fingerprints? I need to look into that. Thanks for the suggestion.

| I have so many nose prints on my passenger side window that I can hardly see out it! Maybe it's time to clean them off.

But, back on "topic." No one else has heard that dog nose prints are as individual as people fingerprints? When I read that, I thought "WHAT A GREAT IDEA!" If Kaji ever gets lost, only a real owner would have something so uniquely identifying, even if their chip registration was changed or another worst case scenario.

| As far as I know, dog nose prints are unique like fingerprints in people. The Canadian Kennel Club used to accept nose prints for registering dogs but have now gone to tattoos or microchips only.

| YAY! Finally someone who knows! If I wanted to have Kaji's "prints" taken, would I ask a vet, do it myself, or is there a way of making it official?
